Paris Hilton turns into a diva in London! Sunday, November 19th, 2006 at 8:03pm l__a__m London, Nov 18: Paris Hilton has done little to win the Brits over, and she scored extremely low points when she threw a diva like tantrum at a charity event. Chrystal giant Swarovski had commissioned a portrait of each of the World Music Award hosts that were to be auctioned for charity after the event. However, the only thing the reality show star, who was otherwise occupied trying to get a pal into the event, ended up doing, was throw water on one assistants when he tried to get to sign her portrait. An insider revealed that getting Hilton to sign the portrait had turned into a real chore for organisers. "Paris was in a foul mood. She couldn`t stand being pestered to autograph the photo. So she chucked water on her assistant`s leg and ran off," the Mirror quoted the insider, as saying. And it seems that Hilton was also not to impressed with the portrait, for when they inally got her to sign the snap and she sneered: "Is that it?" Wednesday, August 30th, 2006 at 1:04am l__a__m Gossip Girl to come to the CW The books' publisher, Alloy Entertainment, originally planned to turn the series into a film, starring teen-queen Lindsay Lohan. This was abandoned, but now CW has committed itself to a pilot and hopefully a series, along the lines of Sex and the City. Shortly to rise from the ashes of two older, struggling cable networks - UPN and the WB - the CW will squarely aim itself at the young adult demographic. The man in charge of the Gossip Girl project will be Josh Schwartz, creator of the teen hit, The OC. This week, according to Lohan's rep, Leslie Sloane Zelnik, someone stole the password to her BlackBerry and sent her friends "disgusting and very mean messages that everyone thought were coming from Lindsay. They weren't. We now have her lawyers looking into it. Some people think Paris may have been involved because the wording of the messages sounds very familiar." Hilton had her own messaging incident two years ago when her T-Mobile was hacked into and her private messages were put on the Web - including ones saying [then married] Jessica Simpson had a crush on Justin Timberlake and that Us Weekly's Ken Baker was in her pocket. Not surprisingly, Hilton's rep, Elliot Mintz, denies she has anything to do with Lohan's BlackBerry and adds: "I'm saddened this happened to Lindsay. I lived through this with Paris two years ago when her Sidekick was hacked into, and the loss of privacy is unbearable.
